so the latest issue of the new yorker arrives in my mailbox today and, as soon as i see the cover, i think, "oh, cute!  an homage to wayne thiebaud!"

once i get upstairs and settle in, i check to see who the artist is.  the table of contents reads:

bought some new art supplies over the weekend, including a borden & riley kraft pad.  just felt like i needed to draw on paper that wasn't white.

pictures from chris & shelley's wedding now up in the photos section — some of them actually taken by me (i.e., the ones with joe in them).  the above is my man, mr. joe, being all artsy at our table during the reception.  beautiful, no?

took awhile to post these because i was trying to use some server-side php scripting to make posting these photo albums a little easier.  not that you'd care, of course — just figured i'd brag.

just got back from christine and shelley's wedding up in lincoln, massachusetts.   (that's them above, with their officiant, kirok, between them.)  had a total blast.
