b-days '05

celebrated my thirty-first birthday on tuesday.  joe took me to a surprise dinner at sushi samba with our friends justin and brian.  the meal:  goat cheese tempura and cornmeal-crusted calimari for the appetizers; crispy red snapper, chicken teriyaki, and lots of sushi for the entrées.  the waitress was even kind enough to bring us a complimentary warm chocolate banana cake for dessert.  thanks, mr. man!

the next night, to celebrate his birthday, i took joe to see fatal attraction: a greek tragedy, starring corey feldman as michael douglas, down at the 13th street theatre.  lots of fun, and because joe knows the director and the dance choreographer/assistant director (they're married), we got to meet mr. feldman afterwards.  corey even autographed a postcard for joe (pics below).
