new yorker cover

a little late in blogging about this, i know, but the cover of the april 3rd issue of the new yorker (above) made me laugh out loud.  indeed, baseball season is upon us again, and poor poor jason giambi (number twenty-five) getting picked on again for being steroid boy.  i find it sadly amusing, for some odd reason, that they have him placed all the way in left field.  no first base for you!

the below cartoon, from the same issue, also had me in hysterics.
